Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Bracket - Volkswagen (5M0-820-536-A)

Genuine Volkswagen Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Bracket

Ensure your vehicle's climate control and engine management systems receive highly accurate environmental data with this Genuine Volkswagen Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Bracket (MPN: 5M0-820-536-A). Also known as an air temp sensor holder, this factory-original OEM component mounts securely behind the front grille or bumper assembly, keeping the ambient air temperature sensor perfectly positioned to measure oncoming airflow.

A missing, loose, or broken bracket allows the sensor to dangle or rest too close to hot engine components. This causes false, artificially high external temperature readings on your dashboard, directly disrupting automatic HVAC heating and cooling performance. Replacing a damaged holder with this genuine VW part guarantees a crisp snap-fit that isolates the sensor from engine heat and road vibrations.
